Jason Woosley is an ecommerce veteran and the newly appointed Vice President of Technology for Magneto Commerce. Jason wrote his first payment integration in 1998, stitching together a toolset for real estate professionals.
He spent 5 years at Volusion, competing head-to-head with Magento, while developing the first API-first enterprise commerce platform in Mozu (recently acquired by Kibo).
Jason leads a lean engineering and product development organization, relying heavily on scrum and Kanban techniques to manage Magento’s product delivery work streams.
Jason received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and completed his master’s degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management. He resides in Austin, Texas and when he is not leading the world’s best software delivery organization, he can be found on the ski slopes, mountain biking trails, or on the lake.
